I'm Ahmed Negida
After graduating with my MD, I completed a PhD. by publication in the University of Portsmouth (UK). I pursued the academic research pathway. Not exactly the way I expected to start my new career! But with smart financial decisions and a little hard work, I was debt-free in a year and well on my way to early retirement.

My Story
I always dreamed of making a difference in medicine and science. After graduating from medical school in Egypt, I realized how challenging it was for aspiring physicians and researchers to access quality research training and mentorship. Determined to bridge this gap, I pursued a PhD in biomedical sciences from the University of Portsmouth, United Kingdom, followed by postdoctoral research positions at world-class institutions such as Harvard Medical School and Virginia Commonwealth University.
Despite achieving these milestones, my greatest passion has always been empowering others. That's why in 2014, I founded Negida Academy, creating accessible, high-quality research training programs that have impacted thousands of young physicians and scientists. Today, my mission is to support ambitious individuals like you—equipping you with essential research skills, mentorship, and guidance to excel academically, publish impactful research, and become leaders in your field.Â

Why I Do It
Growing up in Egypt, I realized that clinical research skills were rarely taught to medical students and trainees, limiting their opportunities to succeed internationally. Despite my ambition and dedication, I faced countless obstacles navigating the global research landscape on my own.
After overcoming these challenges and achieving success at prestigious institutions worldwide, I made it my mission to simplify this journey for others. Today, through Negida Academy, I help thousands of students, trainees, doctors, and aspiring researchers develop the essential skills to excel academically, empowering them to achieve their dreams and positively impact the world of medicine and science.
