This comprehensive course is designed to teach R programming and biostatistics with direct applications in clinical research.
You will learn how to manage, analyze, and visualize data, apply advanced statistical tests, perform regression modeling, and conduct meta-analyses, network meta-analyses, and diagnostic accuracy studies.
The program bridges the gap between statistical theory and hands-on data analysis, empowering healthcare professionals and researchers to publish high-quality, evidence-based studies.
Meet Your Instructor

What Makes This Course Different
(What You’ll Actually Learn?)
Most courses = videos only.
This program is built as a practical training path:
- Hands-on practice in every module using real datasets.
- A quiz after each module to test your theoretical understanding.
- Module Graduation Project (required)
You must pass the project before entering the next module. - Step-by-step workflow like real clinical research:
Import → Clean → Analyze → Visualize → Interpret → Report.
Why This Course Matters?
Many clinicians and researchers struggle with statistics because they learn theory… without real hands-on analysis. Most courses = videos only.
This course bridges the gap between biostatistics concepts and practical clinical research analysis in R / RStudio — so you can:
- Clean and prepare real datasets.
- Run the correct statistical tests.
- Build regression models.
- Perform meta-analysis (including Network Meta-analysis and Diagnostic Accuracy).
- Create clear tables and plots for papers and presentations.
Course Overview – What You’ll Learn
(1) R Basics
(2) Data Manipulation + Descriptive Statistics
(3) Comparing Means & Group Differences
(4) Regression Analysis (Clinical-Ready Modeling)
(5) Categorical Analysis + Effect Measures
(6) Meta-Analysis + Network Meta-Analysis in R
AI Tools in Data Analysis
Module Quiz + Graduation Project for each section.
Includes clinical-focused examples — not just theory.
R Templates & Practical Scripts (Clinical Research)
Ready-to-use scripts to speed up your work (cleaning, tests, regression, plots).

What our trainees say about the course:
Omer Hussein Alwi Bin-Sahel
The course is excellent. I benefited a lot from it, and it is truly worth it.
Israa Mohamed
I am Israa Mohamed, a fifth-year medical student at Alexandria University. The challenge is a great idea, and the explanation is useful and concise. It encouraged me to learn the program and continue with the course. It's a good starting point for anyone beginning to learn R.
Elsayed Fouad
I'm Elsayed Fouad Abdellah, studying at faculty of medicine Aswan University. The challenge was more powerful and very exciting. The challenge gave me more information about R and how we can use it.
Sarah Abdullah
The best thing about the course is that the video durations are short and suitable for reducing distraction and inattention. Also, covering the important information without getting into too many distracting details was a good thing. Thank you to Dr. Mohamed Tariq for the explanation.
Amal Ali
I am Amal Ali from Libya, a graduate of the University of Tripoli, Faculty of Pharmacy. Currently, I work in the field of medical research in collaboration with doctors from the University of Tripoli. I have published two scientific papers, and a third is currently in preparation.
I also participated in the Second Medical Research Conference in Libya.
What I liked most about the challenge is that the course was concise yet comprehensive and useful. The information was focused and clear, which helped me understand the content easily and benefit from it quickly.
After joining the challenge, I noticed a clear benefit in organizing my thoughts, developing my knowledge in the field, and acquiring new information I can apply to my work in medical research.
Omar Emad
Hello, me name is Omar Emad fifth year medical student form Mansoura university.
This mini course was really helpful I learned a lot about R the explanation was very good for the system of R and RStudio to the point that I think I can do an actual work with R it's good to note that I do already have background in programming (I have studied C++ before) so I don't know if this affected how much I actually got form this mini course.
The only downside in this experience was the recorded online session the quality of the first two sessions was very low ,but the last one was very good, another thing you couldn't put the video on full screen mode and you couldn't speed up the play speed.
Youssef Ahmed
I am Youssef Ahmed from Alexandria Medicine [Faculty of Medicine, Alexandria University], and I had been wanting to learn the program for a while, but every time I worried I wouldn't be able to handle it. But this course gave me a strong push, and God willing I will continue with it. Thank you very much to Dr. Mohamed, and God willing, I will stay with him for the full course.
